Springtime Disease Prevention Home Remedies
Measles: 6 grams each of Lithospermum erythrorhizon and Glycyrrhiza uralensis (reduce dosage for young children), boil in water and take once daily for one week; 9 grams of Isatis indigotica, boil in one cup of water until half a cup remains, take once daily for 5-7 days.
Diphtheria: 25 grams of Kalimeris indica, boil in one cup of water and take over two days, or stir-fry with seasonings and eat as a vegetable; 9 grams of Scrophularia ningpoensis, 3 grams of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 15 grams of Imperata cylindrica, boil in water and take for three days.
Pertussis: Two to three cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped, add sugar, boil in a sand pot, twice a day for children under two years old, finish within two days, once a day for children under three years old, for 5-7 days; 16 grams each of chestnut shell and corn silk, add winter melon and rock sugar as needed, boil in water and take; dry duckweed, mix thoroughly with 3 grams of honey, boil in water, take 3 grams each time, half the dose for children under three years old, for three days.
Mumps: 20 grams of Baphicacanthus cusia, 15 grams of Dryopteris crassirhizoma, 3 grams of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, boil in water and take once daily, twice a day, for five days.
Meningitis: Clean garlic, eat raw, two to three cloves daily; 10 grams each of mugwort, Atractylodes lancea, and realgar, burn, then disinfect the room
