On the morning of December 6, 21, Jiangsu Vanguard Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. organized a practical drill for emergency rescue of waste liquid leakage accidents in the company's yard, according to the requirements of the emergency rescue plan exercise plan. The Safety and Environmental Protection Department took the lead, and the production workshop assisted. The simulated accident scene was at 9:00 am, focusing on the alarm procedures, on-site first aid by the team, personnel evacuation, on-site isolation, and implementation of treatment measures after a hazardous waste leakage accident.
Before this emergency plan exercise, the participants were given a special training on the disposal methods of hazardous waste leakage and the key points of personal protection. And for sudden leakage incidents, how to respond and take effective measures to deal with them in a timely and effective manner, implement emergency rescue mechanisms, and the relevant knowledge on maximizing the prevention and reduction of leakage incidents and the damage they cause were explained in detail. In this emergency plan exercise, from the occurrence of the emergency incident to the timely rescue and treatment of employees and the implementation of logistical support work. It truly achieved a clear division of labor and responsibility to individuals. At the first moment of the leakage incident, it was possible to ensure that personnel rescue was not chaotic, and the logistics support was in place, and personnel rescue was timely and safe. Through this emergency plan exercise, the participants deepened their understanding of the safety prevention knowledge of hazardous waste, improved their practical skills in emergency handling, and enabled employees to clearly understand how to deal with sudden emergencies and how to rescue themselves and others. It played a positive role in the development of our company's safe production work. At the same time, due to many uncertain factors, the actual situation may change when it occurs, so everything should still be solved according to the actual situation. The on-site commander gave a key review, requiring the responsible persons in each department and unit to supervise the learning of emergency rescue and hazardous waste safety prevention related knowledge, continuously improving the self-rescue and rescue related knowledge level of all company personnel, employees can strengthen communication and work together to ensure that in the event of such a situation, employees can achieve zero casualties, and the company's losses can be minimized. The main problems are summarized as follows:
1. Some employees left the scene midway due to other work tasks during the exercise, and their participation was insufficient.
2. During the exercise, the contact with various workshops was not in place, and the problems could not be solved more timely and effectively.
3. During the exercise, some personnel lacked tension and the real effect of the exercise was lacking.
Next improvement measures:
1. Check the packaging of liquid hazardous waste on site and replace damaged containers.
2. Strengthen the knowledge training of the emergency team and improve the business knowledge level of the emergency rescue team.
