  In winter, closing doors and windows reduces air convection, causing the indoor temperature to rise; however, it also leads to an increase in unclean air, a large increase in bacteria, viruses, carbon dioxide, and dust particles in the air, which has an adverse effect on the respiratory tract, making people more susceptible to colds and coughs.
